‘There are two things we should give to our children; one is root and the other is wings’

Bearing this in mind, we at Credence have started COFFEE MORNINGs with parents who are the roots of our children to provide us with feedback and suggestions so that, we at school can give wings to their dreams. COFFEE MORNINGs aims at ‘PARENT VOICE’.

Credence High School believes in the holistic development of our children, which we can achieve along with the parents. Thus, we provided a platform for parents to interact and to share their experiences, to give the school feedback and to talk freely about their child. We really appreciate all the parents who took out time from their busy schedule and were there for our COFFEE MORNING.

It was an interactive session, where feedbacks and suggestions were welcome from the parents. Parents were also given feedback about their children and how every child is special and have different needs and wants, which can be achieved through an array of methods.

We at Credence believe in taking education beyond the classroom.

As a part of our extended learning program, the students of grade 1 and 2 went for a field trip to Lulu Hypermarket, Al Barsha on Sunday, 25th September 2016.

The purpose of the trip was to make them have a real life experience with regards to transaction of money, addition and subtraction and connect it with healthy living.

A discussion regarding the supermarket was held before the students left for the field trip and they were asked to shop for only edible plants.

Students took a full trip of the hypermarket. They were happy to see numbers everywhere and were seen comparing the prices of different products. They saw the different section of fruits and vegetables and learnt about dairy products. Children also had a small chat on what food is good for healthy living and why we need to avoid junk food.

      BACK FROM THE TRIP

Students stuck their bill in a small booklet and wrote down number sentence and statement about addition and subtraction.

They wrote a write up – 'A visit to the Lulu Hypermarket'.

This field trip to Lulu Hypermarket was indeed a memorable and exciting outing for our little children.

"International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book ‘The Dot’ on September 15, 2009.

The Dot is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark.” What begins with a small dot on a piece of paper becomes a breakthrough in confidence and courage, igniting a journey of self-discovery and sharing, which has gone on to inspire countless children and adults around the globe." DOT day is a symbol of trust between Student and Teacher.

At Credence, we celebrated DOT day on Sunday, 18th September 2016. To mark the day children came dressed in a dotted attire. Everyone had a blast creating beautiful art works made with dots. Children also participated in a puppet show organized by the teachers.

Benefits of choosing Indian schools :

              International Recognition

The Indian School education system is the 11th largest in the world, with more than 100 million students enrolled in thousands of colleges and universities.

A certificate or degree issued by the CBSE is universally acceptable. Indian CBSE curriculum is internationally recognized in more than 24 countries. The well-researched curriculum is at par with international standards and the certificates are equally accredited throughout the world. Credence high school being the most sought after and best Indian schools in Dubai, strives to create a generation full of productive, contributing, and fulfilled members of society, who aim to carve their own unique paths. Our students have been accepted by top universities around the globe.

              Ease to relocate

Another benefit of CBSE curriculum is its ease of relocation. Parents who have transferable jobs find it difficult to find schools for their kids mid session, with CBSE transferring child/ren mid-session becomes easier as all CBSE schools have a uniform syllabus and exam structure everywhere, so it does not matter if your ward is joining any time of the year, he or she can easily cope with the syllabus.

              Developing Holistic Individuals

Indian schools (CBSE curriculum) follows a cumulative approach to its syllabus, which means there is a continuity and link to previous topics of study. The advantage of this approach is that it makes remembering simple. At Credence we offer our students inclusive and holistic learning, hence students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 relate to what they had studied.

              Academically Recognized

CBSE Board is known for its emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students to gain a deeper understanding of various subjects. All the medicine and engineering competitive exams are set by the CBSE board and the syllabus is based on the NCERT books, from which the students study. CBSE students have a higher chance of succeeding in competitive exams like NEET, JEE or AIEEE IIT-JEE, PMT, NDA, and CDS

Credence High School is one of the best Indian schools in Dubai where we strive to create a happy environment to engender a perpetual love of learning among our students. Our students learn through the exploration of a well-structured yet dynamic CBSE curriculum.
