Credence High celebrated Diwali on 27th
October 2016 throughout the day with an auspicious aura and festive atmosphere.
Our Credenians were dressed in colourful traditional attire to celebrate the
zeal and passion of the festival.
Students of Grade 2 organized a special
performance where, they sang and danced on the tunes of “Mere tumhare sake
liye, happy Diwali.” They not only brought a smile on everyone’s face but a
beautiful message of celebrating the festival by sharing their happiness.
The Grade 4 students performed a skit
depicting a nature scene with the theme of “Gratitude brings Happiness.” The
students made thank you greeting cards for all the support staff and admin
staff, to show them how important they are. This created a huge impact and the
entire support staff and admin staff were happy.
The teachers performed a festive dance
with diyas and dhandiyas for the students.
This vibrant happy filled day was
concluded by Principal’s message on how to keep up the spirit of happiness
throughout our lives.
Students were able to recognize that
certain themes, values, and symbols are shared and reinforced through a festival.
They attained the emotion of happiness by showing gratitude to others.
