The Annual Sports Day
of Kindergarten, ‘Colours - Symbol of
joy’ was held on 9 March 2017 with excitement and anticipation by the staff
and students of Credence High. Parents of the students came to support, cheer
and boost the self confidence of their little ones. It was fun to watch
children run, hop and dance in an enriched outdoor environment. The Athletic Track Field at Credence
High School echoed with the enthusiastic sound of aerobics, dance, fun games
and races for parents and students. It was a splendid occasion for students to showcase their speed and
agility on the field.
The
programme began by our CEO, Principal Mrs. Deepika Thapar Singh addressing our
little sportspersons with her profound words of wisdom and also declaring the
sports meet open. The tiny tony of KG 1 lifted the spirits of everyone
assembled there by their magical moves, dancing to a foot tapping welcome
dance. This was followed by the March Past of Kindergarten 2 students who
projected a sense of dignity and pride with their swing
of arms and with a smile on their face. All sang the National Anthem of UAE and
the Indian National Anthem with pride.
Then came the races
with a twist, innovative and novel, something that no one had witnessed before.
Races were fresh, funny and focused as their names - Banana Olympic Race, Getting ready for
birthday party race, Fruit salad party race, Water race - quench your thirst,
Getting ready for school race, Flowers - Bouquet making race, Vegetable race,
Daddy's day out race, UAE Soldiers race, Goldilocks and the four bears race,
The hungry rabbit race, Flag race, Obstacle race, Bob the builder race. All
these races were conducted for KG 1 and KG 2 students. Parents were not
deprived of their childhood, races were conducted for them too
and they made the most of it.
After this, KG 2
children came together to mark the joyous day with their smiles, their energy
and their zeal presenting aerobics. Children looked vibrant and mesmerised
everyone with their flexibility, vitality and athletic performance. Prizes for
parents were given away by our CEO- Principal, Mrs. Deepika Thapar Singh. Students
had a fun filled day! On this day they burnt some
energy, it did wonders to their physical fitness and children developed
cognitive skills as well.
