INTENT: The UAE National Day Celebrations at the Credence High School have been a grand affair always. All the students from PreKG to Grade 12, staff members and parents; everyone were involved in various activities and arrangements spread over the school premises on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.

EXPERIENCE: The school gleamed with the decorations of UAE flags, balloons, buntings, streamers and welcome board. The day dawned with everyone dressed up in the UAE flag color clothes and festive clothes. Arabic music and the soothing aroma of ‘Bakhoor’ welcomed everyone in a traditional way. To add to the authenticity, few of the staff members and the children dressed in Abaya/Kandura welcomed everyone with creative ‘Qahwah’ (the Arabic coffee’) served in ‘dallah’ and ‘fenjan’ (the pot and the cups), along with the delicious fruit,‘dates’.

The major highlight of the celebration was parent engagement in school which happened after 3 long years of covid restrictions. Parents volunteered to set up stalls of various items like food, accessories, games and much more. Children thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations. Besides that, children got an opportunity to showcase their talent on the stage which was set up for them to sing and dance.

INSIGHT: Every aspect of the National Day was taken into consideration and the day ended on an extra ordinarily gratifying note. We do not limit the feeling of patriotism to this one day but wish to imbibe it in our spirits always for this country has given everyone a reason to smile. Credence High School demonstrated the perfect example of team work where in all the students, staff members and parents came together and made it a success.

Flag Day is a national occasion where people of the UAE remember the efforts of the founders of their State, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, and their brothers who sacrificed everything for the sake of their nation. It is a day when the national spirit is renewed, and an occasion to reflect on the achievements of the era of the late President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Flag Day was marked by school and the country’s banner was hung outside the school. Flag-raising ceremony was held in the presence of the school Principal, Adminstrative head and the students PreKG to Grade 1, in which the promise was made, the flag was saluted with pride and national anthem was played. Meanwhile the same was held for the other students in their classrooms through the radio announcement.

The flag holds a special place in Emirati culture, and if you want to fly one there are special considerations you must keep in mind.

Respect for the country and maintaining its dignity is the aim of such celebrations.

Benefits of choosing Indian schools :

        International Recognition

The Indian School education system is the 11th largest in the world, with more than 100 million students enrolled in thousands of colleges and universities.

A certificate or degree issued by the CBSE is universally acceptable. Indian CBSE curriculum is internationally recognized in more than 24 countries. The well-researched curriculum is at par with international standards and the certificates are equally accredited throughout the world. Credence high school being the most sought after and best Indian schools in Dubai, strives to create a generation full of productive, contributing, and fulfilled members of society, who aim to carve their own unique paths. Our students have been accepted by top universities around the globe.

        Ease to relocate

Another benefit of CBSE curriculum is its ease of relocation. Parents who have transferable jobs find it difficult to find schools for their kids mid session, with CBSE transferring child/ren mid-session becomes easier as all CBSE schools have a uniform syllabus and exam structure everywhere, so it does not matter if your ward is joining any time of the year, he or she can easily cope with the syllabus.

        Developing Holistic Individuals

Indian schools (CBSE curriculum) follows a cumulative approach to its syllabus, which means there is a continuity and link to previous topics of study. The advantage of this approach is that it makes remembering simple. At Credence we offer our students inclusive and holistic learning, hence students from Pre-KG to Grade 12 relate to what they had studied.

        Academically Recognized

CBSE Board is known for its emphasis on theoretical and practical knowledge, which helps students to gain a deeper understanding of various subjects. All the medicine and engineering competitive exams are set by the CBSE board and the syllabus is based on the NCERT books, from which the students study. CBSE students have a higher chance of succeeding in competitive exams like NEET, JEE or AIEEE IIT-JEE, PMT, NDA, and CDS

Credence High School is one of the best Indian schools in Dubai where we strive to create a happy environment to engender a perpetual love of learning among our students. Our students learn through the exploration of a well-structured yet dynamic CBSE curriculum.
