The academic year at Credence High School, Dubai commences in April. We follow a dynamic, ongoing admission policy that enables students to enroll throughout the year, depending on the availability of seats.

The Admission Process - (5 Stage Process)

Application Review: Our admission team evaluates each application holistically — considering academic performance, extracurricular involvement, community participation, leadership qualities, and individual strengths.
Communication: You will receive timely updates and personalized communication regarding the progress and status of your application.

Required Attestation

Students transferring from other Emirates (within the UAE): The Transfer/Leaving Certificate must be attested by the Ministry of Education of the respective Emirate.

Students transferring from GCC countries: The Transfer/School Leaving Certificate must be attested by the Ministry of Education in the country of origin.

Students transferring from India/Overseas: The Transfer/Leaving Certificate must be attested by the Education Officer of the respective Zone, District, or Area. The seal and signature of the Education Officer must be verified by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate/Concerned Authority in the UAE and the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The above criteria is a requirement for registration.
Subsequent to successful registration students are required to appear for an admission test in relevant subjects.
The date for the admission test will be informed by Whatsapp and email.
The syllabus for the admission test is available on the school website, Admission test syllabus.
Admission will be based on the performance of the student in the admission test.
A Parent school contract has to be signed by the parent prior to the student joining the school as mandated by the KHDA, school regulatory authority of Dubai. To know more about the contract please contact the admissions department.

CREDENCE ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME (CASP)

The scholarship is awarded for one academic year at a time and is subject to continued academic performance and adherence to school policies.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is awarded at the time of admission to Grade 11, based on outstanding academic performance in Grade 10 Pre-Board or CBSE Board Examinations, as per the slabs below.

Continuation of Scholarship in Grade 12

The scholarship may be continued in Grade 12, provided the student:
- Maintains cumulative Grade 11 results within the same scholarship slab
Failure to meet the required academic slab will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

Withdrawal Process

Parents wishing to withdraw their ward from Credence High School must submit an online withdrawal application through Email/School Portal.
After submitting the letter of intent, a completed withdrawal form along with a fee of AED 126 towards the Transfer Certificate must be submitted to the school admissions office.

Homework policy of the school:

Students have varying degrees of learning and memorizing, and thus homework helps
students to ensure they do not forget what they were taught in school. Teachers give
homework for several reasons, including :
reinforcing learning,

Homework Policy at Credence -

For Early years :
Early years is more of hands-on activities where we focus on all life skill activities and hence not much homework. We follow the ‘1-1-1’ homework rule for our early years.
1 page - Once a week - 1 subject.

For Grades :

Grade 2 to Grade 5	One homework per subject per week
Grade 6 to Grade 8	One or two homework per subject per week
Grades 9 & 10	Minimum one homework per subject per week
Grades 11 & 12	Daily homework for all subjects

What is the age criteria for Kindergarten students in Indian schools?

- The age Criteria for all Indian schools in Dubai for preschool and kindergarten are as per the KHDA guidelines is as follows:
Pre KG
The child must complete 3 years before the 31st of March to be eligible for Pre-KG.
Kindergarten 1
The child must complete 4 years before the 31st of March to be eligible for KG1.
Kindergarten 2
The child must complete 5 years before the 31st of March to be eligible for KG2.
Grade 1
The child must complete 6 years before the 31st of March to be eligible for Grade 1.

All CBSE schools in Dubai follow the above criteria for admissions.

When do admissions open?

- The CBSE academic year starts from April and ends in March. Admissions are open subject to the availability of seats. A seat is offered to the applicant if the child meets the criteria set by the CBSE board, KHDA Dubai, and the admission policy of the school.
