Important Guidelines & Instructions
Dear Parent,
Greetings!
We are happy to inform you about the commencement of the Voluntary After-School Activity Programme — NEST (Nurturing Extended School Time) — for TERM-1 for Grades 4 to 8 students for the Academic Year 2026-27.
Programme Schedule
TERM-1 NEST activities run from April 2026 until September 2026.
• Phase 1: Tuesday, May 5 – Thursday, May 21, 2026 & Tuesday, June 16 – Thursday, June 25, 2026
• Phase 2: Tuesday, September 8 – Thursday, September 24, 2026
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Timing: 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Who can participate?
- Open to students in Grades 4 to 8 only.
- Participation is optional and not mandatory.
Important Instructions
- Each activity can accommodate only a limited number of students. Students will be allotted activities on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All participating students are expected to attend the Voluntary NEST Programme in proper sports attire, kit, and shoes for sporting activities.
- Please note: Students attending the Voluntary NEST Programme must come to school wearing the school uniform as per the timetable. They must carry extra attire that is comfortable for their allocated activities and wear it only during the NEST Programme activities.
- Students using the school bus facility will board the bus by 3:55 p.m., and buses will depart at 4:00 p.m. Parents of own transport students must pick up their child by 3:50 p.m. from EXIT-9 ONLY (Kindergarten Exit).
- The final confirmed activities will be shared via email to the parents’ registered email address on Monday, May 04, 2026. A notification will also be sent through the class WhatsApp groups.
- Strictly no change of activities will be entertained after the allotment for the NEST activities has been made.
- The school cafeteria will be open for the purchase of light snacks.
- No NEST activity will be held during PR/Half Yearly examinations, online classes, vacations, national holidays, or school special events. Prior information regarding these dates will be shared with all registered students. Please regularly check the school portal and class WhatsApp group.

All other activities are free of charge.
Important Notes
- This programme cannot be taken on selective days. Once registered, the child must participate and be present on all NEST Programme days: Tuesday & Thursday.
- If your child is present for regular school on a Tuesday or Thursday, they must stay back for the NEST Programme. Absence from NEST Programme only is not permitted.
- If a student has opted for the Voluntary NEST Programme and is a regular user of school bus transportation, and if for any reason the child does not wish to participate on a particular day, they cannot use the 2:10 p.m. school bus service, as seats would have been allocated for the 4:00 p.m. bus route. In this case, parents must send communication to the school reception through the portal latest by 10:00 a.m. and make arrangements to pick up the child between 2:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- All activities will be allotted as per the form. Administrative arrangements and bus routes will be planned once registrations are received.
- After registration is closed, no new admissions will be accepted.
- Although utmost care is taken for the safety of children, the coaches, teachers, school, or management will not be responsible for any mishap or injury while participating.
