    INTENT: Convergence is coming together to create something new and Credence Convergence follows the concept to bring the schools of UAE together to  showcase their best talent. The event is a virtual inter-school competition which was initiated during Covid. It was the third season of the competition this year, following the theme of ‘Sustainability’ in alignment with the UAE’s declaration of the year 2023 as the ‘Year of Sustainability’. Students were invited to participate in the multi-category event which consisted of competitions in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Islamic and Arabic subjects. The popularity of the event have been growing year by year and this year we welcomed participation from 27 different schools.

    EXPERIENCE:  12 schools competed with each other in 8 different events. Students demonstrated creative presentations, new concepts, theme relevance, innovation, teamwork and great work ethics. It was an opportunity for the students to develop and showcase their skills. The students competed for top three position in each category and finally the overall school winners were announced on the basis of the total scores. Delhi Private School, Sharjah secured the winners position, Indian School, Al Ain bagged the first runner up and India International School, Sharjah the third place.

    INSIGHT: Such competitions are a great learning experience for the students as they learn a lot from their counterparts in other schools. Besides this event also supported children keep updated with the trends of the technology. We are committed to building a better future generation and such small steps will surely lead to a better future for our children.

      INTENT: A mega inclusion event ‘Embracing Inclusion’ was organized by Springdales School, Dubai specially for Students of Determination. The event was a medium to encourage students showcase their talent, healthy participation and knowledge exchange between schools and enhance student collaboration.

      EXPERIENCE: Nine students from Credence High School participated under different categories such as dance, music, arts, Artificial Intelligence and sports. Each activity focused on specific skills and encouraged students to work collaboratively with their peers, and mentors from Springdales provided the needed assistance to our students. Our Grade 3 student performed ‘Ishy Bilady’ on the keyboard. Towards the end the students were awarded with certificates.

      INSIGHT: It was an engaging, interactive and an excellent opportunity for our students to showcase their skills and embrace their potential.

        INTENT: Credennians got an opportunity to be a part of the Season 1 of Mirchi JAM Junior – an exclusive and unique proposition for students to participate at no cost, but for the experience and their sheer love for music. It focused on giving budding talents, the opportunity to showcase their Music skills. It involved a series of rounds of inter school performances, which would lead to the grand finale where in 1 band/ single performer will win an all-expense paid trip to Disneyland Paris along with the exclusive opportunity and chance to perform live on the airwaves of 102.4 Mirchi.

        EXPERIENCE: 30 Students were auditioned, and 3 students- Hamza-8B, Saanvia-9B & Pranav-9B were shortlisted from the line of performances. These shortlisted Individuals competed with each other for the second round where they performed live at the studio and on the airwaves of 102.4 Mirchi. Saanvia won the highest SMS votes and made it to the grand finale. She competed with 12 Individuals/groups from schools across Dubai which was withnessed by parents and a esteemed celebrity panel of judges.

        INSIGHT: Such opportunities bring in new challenges and thrilling experiences for the students.

          BAKE SALE DAY 2023

          INTENT: In the constant endeavor to keenly involve parents in school activities, the Pre-Kg to Grade 1 department at Credence High School had invited parents to participate in the ‘Bake Sale Day’. Proceeds from the event were donated to the charity.

          EXPERIENCE: Many parents volunteered for the event and preparations started weeks in advance with the planning of the menu to the setting up of the stalls. Teachers helped with the decorations and setting up of the dainty stalls which sold delicious homemade delicacies like doughnuts, cup cakes, cookies, cutlets (veg & non-veg), cheese pizzas, and juice. Children eagerly visited the stalls to purchase the enticing foods which was all sold out by the the end of the event. In appreciation for the hard work put in by the parents, they were presented with letters of appreciation and certificates.

          INSIGHT: The Bake Sale Day is a positive attempt by Credence High School to foster progressive attributes in children by stimulating in them, the ability to manage their money, the ability to raise money for a good cause.It also provided a wonderful opportunity for the parents to involve in their child's education and boost their confidence.

            INTENT: Sustainable living is the need of the hour and so is educating our students for the same. The Government of UAE is committed to creating a sustainable environment in the country. A team of DHA personnels and life guard from Dubai Beach Authority visited the school for an educational session regarding the Environmental Awareness and Beach Safety.

            EXPERIENCE: They educated the children about the 8 protected areas of UAE where the natural environment and certain species of animals & birds are protected. Students were also educated about the safety measures taken by the Dubai Government at the beaches and introduced the newly opened night beaches. Summer season is around the corner and students were made aware of the possible outings in the UAE during that time.

            INSIGHT: Students left with a sense of responsibility towards the environment andnlearnt more about the sustainable surroundings around them.

              INTENT: A mosque visit was organized for the students of Grade 1 to 8 to learn about the cultures of the UAE and the world on the whole and fostering interfaith understanding and promoting cultural diversity.

              EXPERIENCE: Students of grade 11 presented a wonderful session about the mosque, its importance for Muslims and the its messages for our day to day life. Students explored and learnt about the Islamic traditions, prayer timings, required manners in the Mosque, how many times do Muslims pray and who leads the prayer (IMAM).

              INSIGHT: This field trip was very engaging, interactive, enlightening many aspects of the mosque.

                Content: The theme for today is “Wisdom”. Assembly was conducted by the students of Grade 5A. True wisdom comes from recognizing how little we truly know and being open to learning and growth.

                EXPERIENCE: Students learnt the meaning by watching a story to understand more about wisdom and interpret the moral of the same. Students learnt the 8 words of wisdom by watching the video of Incredible Historical Philosophers (ego, love, smile, gossip, success, jealousy, knowledge and confidence, students explained one by one came on the stage.

                  EID EXHIBITION 2023

                  INTENT: Eid-Ul-Fitr – the festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love, was celebrated by the students of grade 6-8 in a distinctive festive atmosphere exuberantly filled with irrepressible positive feeling and gusto. The celebration took place on Friday, May 5th from 10 a.m. to 11: 20 a.m. in the respective classrooms. The day began with a class presentation by students. Each class was allotted a specific region:

                  Grade 6 - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh

                  Grade 7 - The UAE

                  Grade 8 - Egypt and Northern Africa

                  EXPERIENCE: Through the presentions, students were able to learn about the location, geography, culture and the way Eid celebrations happen in the selected countries. This was followed by an engaging quiz. The atmosphere was further enriched with our students dressed in dazzling traditional costumes exchanging Eid greetings and highlighting the essence of Eid Celebrations.The celebration concluded with sweets distribution by parent volunteers and Arabic department.

                  INSIGHT: Through this celebration students could experience the feeling of festivity and the traditions of Eid-ul-fitr around the world .The cheerful faces and bright smiles of our students added colours to the celebration.The joyful faces took back the message, ‘share and care.’

                    INTENT: The students of Gr 5-8 expressed their love and gratitude to the support staff of our school by celebrating the SEWA DAY on May 3rd, 2023. This little act of sharing would help our students develop values such as empathy, generosity and kindness. By giving to others, students learn the importance of generosity and the joy that comes from helping others. This can lead to a greater sense of fulfillment and happiness, as students come to appreciate the impact that they can have on others through their actions. The Support Staff plays a crucial role in creating a safe and learning environment ensuring the smooth functioning of the system. Fondly called as ‘uncles’ and ‘aunties’ by our students, they were appreciated in a unique way for the good work they do on a daily basis.

                    EXPERIENCE: Students along with the teachers had been busy planning and prepping for the event since the past one month. Donations of various food items like the cereals, pulses, rice, flour, etc. and toiletries were collected over the period of one month. The school staff also made a generous contribution making the cause worth it. The collection was then distributed among all the support staff members of the school after the special assembly.

                    INSIGHT: This event was truly a heart-warming one. The whole gathering was struck by the palpable sense of community spirit and goodwill that permeated the atmosphere.Seeing the smiling faces of the kind-hearted support staff members, it was clear that this was more than just an event - it was a celebration of the power of kindness and compassion.As the event came to a close, the audience left the venue with an insightful reminder of the incredible impact we can have on the world when we come together with open hearts and a shared sense of purpose.
