Online technologies have removed the barriers of time, cost and location from the learning activities and experiences available to students. Virtual field trips allow learners to engage with and to learn about authentic artifacts and to explore places important to their discipline of study and consistent with their individual learning needs. These field trips bring the real-world perspective to concepts discussed in course text-books as well as provide a national and global perspective to the material being studied. During this virtual field trip planned on Tuesday where Grades 2 to 6 enjoyed their trip learning how chocolate is made with a visit to the chocolate factory, Dinosaur Fossils at the Museum, trip to Iceland to know about Glaciers and Ice Caves, virtual trip to Coral Reef to learn about Bahamian life.

Earth Day is an annual event created to celebrate the planet's environment and raise public awareness about pollution. The day, marked on April 22, is observed worldwide with rallies, conferences, outdoor activities and service projects. We at Credence strive to prepare our students to be equally responsible global citizens and here was yet another opportunity. Students across all the grades engaged in various activities during the remote learning and pledged to solve climate change, to end plastic pollution, to protect endangered species, and to broaden, educate, and activate the environmental movement across the globe.

The kindergarten students learnt about how recycle, reuse and refuse will help to curb the pollution around us. They created some very attractive ‘best out of waste’ items by recycled items. Primary and secondary students discussed the topic and involved in creative writing based on Earth Day. Earth Day activities happened across all grades and subjects. Students created art work, made cards, wrote articles & messages in different languages and lots more.

On 13 April 2021 Credence High School celebrated the commencement of the Holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic Lunar Calendar. It begins upon the visual sighting of the last full moon of the year and lasts 29 or 30 days, depending on the year. The holiday of Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the next lunar month.

Students from all grades participated in the skit, Nasheed and speech, which was prepared for Ramadan. The main objective of this event was to educate the students about the world cultures and reflect their own personal contributions, knowledge, self-awareness, self-reliance and understanding about the importance of Ramadan.
